Equatorial Delight

On Thursday, our cousin David picked the four of us up and we drove about an hour West to visit the zero degree latitudinal line, better known as the Equator. We got there, took some pictures on the Equator signs and then paid a local man to show us the Equator water trick.
The trick involves three funnels, a bucket of water and a flower. Each funnel is strategically placed north of the equator, south of the equator and directly on the equator. When the water is poured into the funnel north of the equator, it flows down clockwise. When poured south of the equator, it flows counter clockwise, and when it is poured directly on the equator, it flows...straight down. It is definitely a neat trick and pretty fun to see.
